Holistic Therapy
Holistic therapy is a generic term for any treatment that is intended to treat the individual as a whole (mind, body and spirit).
Eye-lash Perming
Indications for treatment
- Clients with small eyes, to widen the eyes and give definition.
- Clients with straight lashes.
- Clients who regularly use eyelash curlers and would prefer something a bit more permanent
- For a special occasion and more dramatic effect
- For those clients who prefer not to use mascara, tint plus perming can be extremely effective.
Contraindications
- Positive reaction to the patch test ( using perm solution)
- Cuts and abrasions in the eye area
- Conjunctivitis or other diseases of the eye area
- Watery / hypersensitive eyes
- Styes, or other disorders of the eye area
- Inflammation or swelling in the area.
- Allergies to cosmetics.
Skin Sensitivity test / patch test
It is essential before perming the client?s lashes to carry out a skin sensitivity test. This should take place 24 hours before treatment to determine whether the client allergic to the treatments.
A small amount of the product(s) should be applied to the skin somewhere it is not too obvious, such as behind the ear or the inside of the elbow.
