Holistic Therapy

Holistic therapy is a generic term for any treatment that is intended to treat the individual as a whole (mind, body and spirit).

Cognitive Therapy

Behaviour therapy helps to weaken the connections between troublesome situations and habitual reactions to them; reactions such as fear, depression or rage, and self-defeating or self-damaging behaviour. It also teaches a person how to calm their mind and body, so that they can feel better, think more clearly, and make better decisions.

Cognitive therapy teaches a person how certain thinking patterns are causing their symptoms, by giving a distorted picture of what's going on in their life, and making them feel anxious, depressed or angry for no good reason, or provoking them into ill-chosen actions.

When combined into CBT, behaviour therapy and cognitive therapy provide a very powerful tool for stopping negative symptoms and getting a person’s life on a more satisfying track.
